Early Years Growing Stay and Play
Spring is in the air in Reception! On Thursday 4th April, the Nursery and Reception classes enjoyed our “Growing Stay and Play” sessions. During the morning or afternoon, our families came and joined us in our classrooms for this special event. We all had a super time creating, making, drawing and chalking growing and Spring themed activities. We even had a go at planting in the outside area! It really was a wonderful day and the children were thrilled to have their grown ups with them to join in. Thank you parents and carers for supporting this event – a thoroughly great time was had by all!
Wishing you all a relaxing Easter break.

On Thursday 7th February, four Year 6 children, went to Stoke Library to represent the school in the 2019 Schools’ Library Quiz. Aastha, Jonathan, Kaarunya and Rebecca, competed against three other local schools and I am delighted to inform you that they won their heat, with a clear margin of five points.
Since September, the children have been sacrificing part of their lunch time to prepare for the event and have shown remarkable maturity and enthusiasm throughout.
We are incredibly proud of not only their win but also of the way they represented the school, with such impeccable behaviour.
Library Quiz 24th January 2019
