Wuhan Coronavirus Information
We have today received some advise regarding the Coronavirus outbreak from Coventry City Council. They are advising the following;-
Advice for parents/guardians
You should not be unduly worried about the possibility of your children catching the Coronavirus.
There is no reason why your children should not continue to attend their early years, school or further education setting as normal.
We recognise that some families or children may be planning to travel to China during the forthcoming half term period. If so, please refer to the FCO’s latest travel advice via the link above.
A national campaign has now launched with clear messages for members of the public about the importance of handwashing, and “catch it, bin it, kill it” messages, important not just for Coronavirus, but also other viruses that circulate at this time of year.
Please see following link for further details;-

The children were thrilled to see him and we are delighted to announce that the school raised a huge £900 to this great cause.
A special thank you to our Family’s Team who worked really hard to make sure that the event was a success and thank you to everybody for all of your kind donations and supporting the infamous cake sale at the end of the day!
Dol Y Moch
It was raining very heavily, when we arrived at Plas Dol-y-Moch. As soon as we arrived at the centre, we had fish and chips for tea and then collected our kit. Then the children spent time making their beds and getting settled into their dorms.
After such a long coach journey and busy evening, the children (and staff!) went to sleep very quickly. Although this is the first time away from home for many of our children, they have got used to their new surroundings very quickly.
After breakfast this morning, the children made their own sandwiches and met their instructors for their first activities. Groups A and B did kayaking and rock scrambling at the beach. The majority of the children, and even Mr Somal and Mr Davenport, plucked up the courage to do the ‘Dol y Moch dive’.
We are pleased to advise you that the school has today been awarded the Artsmark award of ‘Gold’!
This award demonstrates that the school delivers high quality arts and cultural education. This is the highest award available so we are delighted with this outcome!
