Nursery Pupils for September 2017
We have recently held our new Reception and Nursery Parents Evenings for those children joining us in September. The evenings were well attended by our new parents. A prize draw competition was held for those parents who had completed all of the relevant paper by the 7th of July. The prizewinner was presented with their new uniform which was greatly received. A Big thank you to all those parents who have submitted their completed paperwork it is a real help to the office staff.
Stoke Heath Football Team - 5th June 2017
League Winners – 2017
We have today been notified that our Football team have won their league! The team won 5 of the six games played gaining a total of 15 points with an impressive 26 goals scored!
Well done to the whole team and a big thanks to Mr Somal for all of his support over the season.
Stoke Heath Football Team
Our Football Team played St Lawrence on Wednesday evening the 23rd May. It was an excellent match and we won 2-0! The children really enjoyed the game. This is the first time that a year 3 child has played for Stoke Heath and he ended up scoring both goals! A fantastic result so a big well done to the team. We will let you know where we have finished in this league!!
Tesco Competition Winner - 2nd May 2017
Our KS1 children have recently been learning about how to look after their teeth and we have received some kind support and donations from Tesco’s at the Ricoh Arena. The store donated toothbrushes and then the children took part in a competition to brush their teeth twice a day and then to colour a picture. Michelle came to school on Tuesday to present our Year 1 winner with their prize. Well done to everybody who took part and keep up your daily brushing of your teeth and a big thank you to Tesco’s for your continued support.
Fire Fighter Visit - 4th April 2017
Our Year 4 children have today had a visit from the Firefighters of Green Watch from Binley fire station. The children learnt about all aspects of fire safety. They were taught the stop, drop and roll which they thoroughly enjoyed! The children are also to take part in a quiz which will be entered into a prize draw. Thank you to the Firefighters for taking the time to visit our school.
Junior Arts Council - Friday 31st March
We today attended the Junior Arts Council event hosted by Performing Arts. The Deputy Lord Mayor Cllr Tony skipper presented the children with their Junior Arts Council badges. The children had the opportunity to meet with order dance groups and arts organisations during the trip and to watch performances from the dancers and musicians.
Red Nose Day - 24 March 2017
The children have today taken part in the Red Nose Day appeal. This was extremely well support by the children and their families and I am pleased to report that we have raised a fantastic £406.80! Well done everyone!
